“We will work as a team with you and your family to bring your child the security they require to explore and develop”
What a crucial time for development! Children hit many milestones just in their first year of life! Here at Palace Childcare we will ensure that those moments are not missed. We will work as a team with you and your family to bring your child the security they require to explore and develop.
Our infant room will be put together with 10 children ages 0 – 18 months and 3 Registered Early Childhood Educators. The fundamentals of early development that we will be focusing on within this age group are basic gross motor, communication, routine, and expression.
As an inclusive center we will be opening our doors to extended developmental teams to observe our children to ensure we have all proper resources in place.
As a team we will ensure the children are meeting their milestones by visual observation and documentation. Activities will be planned and implemented based on the developmental needs of each individual child in the classroom.
We welcome parent input and feedback on our program and activities.
Toddlers
(18 months-2.5 years)
These are our years of expression! We recognize that within these years of child development the children learn how to express their feelings and emotions through conversation and play.
We will be offering two toddler rooms within our facility. These rooms will be made up of 10 children with two full-time educators, and 15 children with three full-time educators. We will be exploring children’s skills throughout play and expanding on their social-emotional development.
We will be helping our toddlers start learning a sense of independence within their day at daycare; preparing to go outside, toileting, and following routine.
We are happy to implement strategies families are working on at home to have consistency with their child. Communication with our team will be crucial to maximize the progress your child will make. We will also share our successes with parents and hope that it can curve struggles they may be enduring.
As an inclusive center we will be opening our doors to families of all needs and offering support to not only children but to families to have the resources they require. We will welcome extended developmental teams to observe our children to ensure we have all proper resources in place

Preschoolers
(2.5 years-4 years)
“We are experiencing imaginative play, independent play, turn-taking as well as school readiness skills”
Hello, miss independence! Will your child allow you to get them dressed or pour their drinks? This is where we learn our self-worth and social-emotional skills.
We have worked on so many skills over the years by imitation and direct support. These are the years to watch our peers and learn by social engagement. We are experiencing imaginative play, independent play, turn-taking as well as school readiness skills.
Our preschool age will begin at 30 months and age out when your child attends Kindergarten! We will be there to help to prepare them for that leap to school.
Does your child know how to read their name?
Are they recognizing letters and numbers?
We will be working on these skills through regular day to day activities and throughout play.
